Future of Energy course concludes, marking progress in sustainability learning
The Future of Energy course concluded with a clear message: the shift to sustainable energy is urgent, complex, and within reach. Over several weeks, leading researchers shared valuable insights into how we can move away from fossil fuels, explore emerging technologies like hydrogen, and develop energy-neutral cities. They examined the policy, financial, legal, and ethical aspects of the transition - connecting science with real-world action. The course gave students not just knowledge, but a framework to think critically about one of today’s most pressing global challenges. The Future of Energy course at the University of Amsterdam brought together 10 expert lecturers and attracted students from diverse fields, fostering rich interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration
Prof. Bob van der Zwaan opens the "Future of Energy" course with first lecture
